Set in Fingal’s stunning double-height ballroom, guests will take part in a hands-on Islander UK mini satchel workshop, creating their own bespoke satchel using Harris Tweed® and premium Scottish materials. Guided by an Islander UK expert, you’ll choose your own cloth lid, leather body colour and strap style to design a personalised accessory that’s as unique as the islands that inspired it.
To fuel your creativity, enjoy a series of beautifully crafted Isle of Harris Gin cocktails. Distilled with sugar kelp hand-harvested from local sea-lochs, the gin reflects the essence of the Outer Hebrides in every sip. Three drinks per guest are included — with non-alcoholic mocktails also available — alongside a selection of four canapés designed to complement the island-inspired theme.
The event celebrates the shared spirit of Scotland’s landscapes, craftsmanship and maritime heritage. Fingal herself once sailed past the shores of Harris while supplying remote lighthouses, including Eilean Glas, during her service with the Northern Lighthouse Board.
